HELP! I need to buy a Sewing Machine that does monogram as well.
Looking at some of my monogrammed shirts Childs I do not know what sewing machine to buy. All those who seem monorgam $ 500 ..... Is there anything less expensive (I am a beginner and I do not understand this kind of spending money when I have not even tried before). Please help:)
To help put Perspectives costs Sewing Machines try to compare a sewing machine to a car. Would you expect a $ 100 car to work both or do as much as a $ 500 car? It's just the same. Machines (new) that monograms will be expensive. You will not be able to obtain around that. $ 500 for a machine that can make a monogram sounds like a godsend for me. The good news is that people are trading for machines with more capabilities and type of machine you are looking for is something that has resale value ... so you may find at a dealership seewing machine. They must save any which machine you buy from them. If $ 500 is too much for you, it will be difficult to find. Be patient and check around for used machines for May and you're lucky. The Brother NX 250 is a machine that I know who is around the $ 500 mark. It is excellent for beginners, it is easy to learn and easy to use and has many additional features, including 3 alphabets. I know $ 500 is overwhelming but if you can find a "used" NX 250 NX 450 ... you would probably be in the right ballpark. If you only want to make monograms, He is a brother who 180D embroidery only. It was built in embroidery designs and includes Alphabets. If you do not need to sewing and want to do monograms, machinery used, as might be in your price range.
