Could somebody help me find this sewing machine?
My Mother has a dream sewing machine. She is a very experienced seamstress; I've heard a lot about brother sewing machines, Pffaf, Janome, and others. I am really trying to find the one she's always wanted for a surprise holiday gift.
These are the features she would like:
Computerized
(The ones you can plug in to your computer and download things in to your sewing machine.)
A Double Threader
Twin Needle
Satin Stitching
Monogramming
And 1 step button holes
Maybe an automatic threader
Or any other advanced perks that may be awesome to have.
If anybody can find one that does all of this I will be forever grateful.
Now, I can't really spend thousands of dollars or anything - but I am willing to stretch my budget.
If your mother is a very experienced seamstress, she probably has her exact dream machine in mind already, unless she's been scared to even look at new machines because she can't afford one. Take her shopping one day and just happen to pass by a sewing machine store, say "oh, let's go look in here for a minute". See what her response is to the machines they have there. Or give her a gift certificate to the best sewing machine store in town and let her go pick one. People who use a certain tool a lot often have very clear preferences.
