Bernina Deco 340 Help !!?
Anyone out there have bernina deco 340?? I just bought one and want to do embroidery on a table cloth. I wonder How I can I make border around the table cloth ???? How to run a pattern continuously ?? . I am really having a hard time to do this..... many many thanks for giving your time
Have done this and it takes a bit of planning and practice.
Start with scrap fabric. Try tear away stabilizer first.
Set up the design, then before you start, mark center, top, bottom and center. There is a jog or outline feature on the machine for this.
For the repeat design, use the jog feature to set up the next box so it is in alignment with the first.
If you want to snug up closer to the previous, move the design (also a editing feature of the machine - jog the needle) and make a note as to how many clicks you need to the left, right, up or down for the continuation.
Another method is mark the stabilzer with the coordinates on the hoop (North, South, East & West) the do one stitch-out.
Carefully remove the stabilizer so you can use it as a template. Re-hoop the fabric with new stabilizer and lay the template on top of the fabric to align with the previous stitch-out.
The second method I saw demonstrate on Sewing With Nancy after I had already done a saying around the border of a baby quilt using the first method.
