What is a Motif in Literature?
For class i have to do an assesment eg. It is Edward Scissor Hands the motif is:
Summer vs Winter
Human vs Machine
Black and White vs Color
Private vs Public
regilous vs Secular
Creator vs Creation
Hands vs Scissors
I know a motif is a reacurring symbol but it asks you to show a scence when one of them occour but i just dont get what it is saying? Help.
