(Patchwork pillow, 4 squares)...
Each of the squares are 7 in by 7 in..how far down would the stitch line go (it's a chain stitch)?
You would attach 2 of the squares together (sew them along one edge, good sides together from very top to right off the end) then sew the other 2 together in the some way. Now open up the 2 sets of 2 squares and sew them along one edge (right sides together) see pics in first link . . .
