Do you think an SR-71 aircraft could fly vertical space?
Then a plan designed for the military never reach space?
By definition, the space begins at 100 km altitude. The SR71's record of 25,929 km altitude in level flight, and its speed record is 3,529.56 km / h. If it is the cold that goes fast and that high going up, its ramjet engines would soon die from lack of air and it would coast to an altitude of about 124 km. It seems doubtful to me whether it could eventually reach 100 km altitude. If so, it would tumbling out of control because it relies on air pressure on the control surfaces. t = v / a = vt = s ² ½ ½ ½ ² = v / a = ½ (980m / s) ² / 9.8 m / s ² = 98 km X15 rocket plane reached the area.
