I'm looking for a fun AND safe from the beach to go to Florida. Suggestions?

I'm really trying to avoid all young college drunk but I do not want to go somewhere that has many attractions. Yeah I need help!

St. Augustine is ideal for historical significance. It is the oldest city in the United States and still has many old buildings. Unfortunately, developers are now old buildings by centuries as fast as they can get permission, so it's a good idea to see St. Augustine ASAP! It has beautiful old buildings and great prices reasonable hotels on the nearby beaches. Because it is historic, it is less likely to have drunk college kids (I try to avoid them too!) One area I've always been lucky with Siesta Key is. It is relatively small, and is mostly filled with expensive condos, so I never saw many young people there, especially drunks. There is not much to do on the island, but there are nice, deserted beaches and wonderful little shops. Its beaches are also well ordered. Really, the key (island) is only a drawbridge short distance from the mainland, it is just minutes to go in Sarasota, if you want to do anything other than going to the beach. In Sarasota, they have places like Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Ringling Circus Museum a mansion to visit state parks, performing arts, museums and aquariums. I think that St. Augustine is amazing, but Siesta Key is also One of my best places to stay in Florida.
