How do I make a fleece tie quilt? not the blanket w/ 2 sides but the actual tied quilt w/ squares?
I have made the fleece tie blankets before but I saw a magazine that was selling the kits to make a fleece tie quilt and I wanted to know how to make them myself. I assume you would need squares around 16-18 inches and then tie them together but I don't know how to go about doing that or how much fabric I would need to purchase etc. any help would be appreciated. thanks
My mother used to make these. Lots of squares sewn together for a top and bottom. A layer of batting in the middle or lots of little stuffed "pockets" sewn together. (that is the quilting part.) The website below will give additional details.
Now if you want to try something especially interesting try felting.
