Is the time you sleep cumulative? Or must it be that 6-8 hour block?
Can you sleep 2 hours at one point in the afternoon then another 4 hours possibly and still be well rested for the following day? Or does your body need that full block of time to rest itself?
You need to go through all the stages of sleep including the deeper stages which can take a while, so you couldn't sleep in hour blocks and be well rested. I'm sure it depends on the person though.
