How can I separate stuck together postcards?

I came into possession of a large box of vintage postcards. most are "linen" type postcards from the 1930s/40s. Unfortunately, they had been damaged in a flood and many are stuck together, and I mean really stuck. There are some that I've been able to separate, but those are a bit wavy and smell moldy.

Try steaming them apart with steam from a kettle. Don't hold over too long though. Then put in between paper towel with something flat and quite heavy to flatten.
